The highest distinction, calculated within each category after final review.
Top 30%
Distinction
Recognition for essays placed in the top thirty percent.

Honor
Recognition for essays placed in the top half of eligible entries.

Essays are reviewed anonymously by a panel of more than ten scholars from leading U.S. universities. Student names, schools, contact details, and payment information are hidden during academic review.
