Serious questions for students ready to think independently.
Lattice Essay Prize is an independent academic initiative serving Grade 9–12 students in China. Our aim is to encourage careful reading, original reasoning, and writing that treats difficult questions with seriousness.
The prize is supported by a review panel of 10+ scholars from leading universities in the United States. Reviewer identities are verified by the organiser; individual biographies and affiliations will be published only with each reviewer’s consent.
Review is double-blind at the scoring stage: judges see an anonymous code and the essay itself, while student names, schools, cities, contact details, and payment information remain restricted to the administrative team.
